Mutagen

A *very* small, very rough FPS action game inspired by Hotline Miami and Tsutomu Nihei's Abara manga, with a small hint of imsim along the way. made originally for Acerola Game Jam 0

The premise of the game was humans would randomly mutate and the governing body sent you, a "cleaner" who's body is infused with an altered version of the mutagen threatening humanity into extinction, to remove them from areas they'd occupied and eliminate the target (target not currently implemented, sorry i was very tired)

will probably add onto the game overtime to make it more in-line with what i originally planned it to be, and will keep the acerola game jam version available as well for posterity

the newest build is 0622_08072024, the previous one was part of the acerola game jam and just keeping it there if anyone wants to see it

Issues

===============

- raycasts for projectiles are a bit too short for how fast they travel, so sometimes they'll just pass through objects. didn't change the length in case they'd hit objects/walls behind the player, and i'm currently updating the way weapons work

- computer shits itself when baking lightmaps, so it doesn't completely match the screenshots

- enemy los is bugged

w a s d - movement

left control (hold) - crouch

space - jump

lmb - rebound / melee (when in range) / throw object

rmb - fire weapon

f - pick up physics objects / begin dialogue

t - flashlight

h - holster weapons
